Two days ago Google decided to remove all Co.CC domains from its listing. This means that if you have a Co.CC domain then your site will no longer show up in Google. This is due to there being a significant numbers of spam sites thats use a co.cc domain.

So, VlexoFree will no longer be suggesting users use Co.CC domain and instead we will start recommending our second option Cz.cc.

If you want to change your domain to a Cz.cc domain then go to their website and create a domain then you can request a domain change in our support forums.

Edit: Cz.cc are also blocked by google. Please use http://dot.tk now

My Antivirus just blocked nic.cz.cc. I thought its false positive and reported at Avast Forum.

It happens with "free domains" such as these. Since they are basically subdomains off a tld that you're getting if a subdomain had bad things on it then these antivirus programs consider the entire tld at fault.

You could buy a TLD or find another free domain service and just redirect your domain. Its the downside to not having your own TLD.

the same thing is going to happen to cz.cc because many people now would try to go for cz.cc free domains and google will again just like that will stop indexing all cz.cc domains....so if anyone is serious about blogging/website building, then they should go for TLD's.

So, what would the process be to have the domain changed over, once the domains are set to your Name Servers?

And, if I changed them over, would all of my files be transferred over too?

You've to first set the domain to VlexoFree Name Servers. Then request for change of domain in VlexoFree Support with right template. All the files will remain intact and your new domain will work properly.
