Sorry, must be me messing with various DB and security shenanigans (I am greatly concerned about lack of usable HTTPS since I connect through TOR and other proxies, for reasons outlined in my interview).

Though I am vastly surprised I managed to get that much load with simple stuff like installing and configuring plugins.

Could you please turn the site back on ?

Your site did it again. But I fixed the problem.

And in a completely related note, you'll now notice you have no more wordpress plugins.

Okay, thanks, though reinstalling the little things did hurt. Thanks for not purging the  DB ;)

Anyways, killed some modules. I strongly suspect that it was file monitor or a particular setting of Super Cache.
Killed the file monitor and disabled the preload thingie in supercache.

      P.S.
How do I know when I start eating up too much resources, is there a metric in CP for that ?

Unless you have SSH (which you do not) only I can see list of processes and cpu usage.
