Please install "Let's Encrypt" on our servers.

Its offers free, and safe SSL certificates, and easy SSL integration to sites.

More info here: https://letsencrypt.org/how-it-works/ , https://letsencrypt.org/getting-started/ , https://letsencrypt.org/about/

All the major browsers (such as Chrome or Firefox) are accepting it, and it is being sponsored by many major companies (https://letsencrypt.org/sponsors/) and has already over 1 million certificates created.

By implementing this feature Vlexofree will be able to make more customers, and can also be a certificate issuer.

Currently, my site http://www.defyworks.com/ is using a certificate issued by them, so you can test it out.

Unfortunately they currently do not support wildcard, but they have plans to implement them on future updates.

Right now, you can get the certificate from here: https://www.sslforfree.com/

Until we implement the feature on Vlexofree.

Please consider implementing this feature, and thanks for reading.

It looks like for it to work requires running shell commands. Since free users dont have shell access it's not going to be useful to install it.

Actually, from my knowledge, you can install this as a software on the cPanel, so people can access their SSLs.

I would like to +1 this.

It appears that both Mozilla https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2016/10/24/distrusting-new-wosign-and-startcom-certificates/ and Google https://security.googleblog.com/2016/10/distrusting-wosign-and-startcom.html have distrusted StartCom and Wosign SSL certificates. Let's Encrypt is the most secure and recommend provider for free certificates. This would be a very good to have feature if it isn't too expensive/complex to implement.
