Hi guys,

So I was looking for a good anti-virus program and I was wondering what one do you think is the best?

I personally use AVG, and it's been pretty good to me. - though it sometimes does slow down your computer. But generally it's been good to me.

And you?

;) Can you moo like a cow? ;)

Mcafee Internet Security is the best offering, I'm currently using it after using AVG Free Edition, which tend to slow down your computer sometimes and also cannot fix other kinds of viruses even if you have the latest updates. My advice to you is to use Mcafee.

I think Norton is a resource hog.. Try Kaspersky.. I tried looking at benchmarks and i fount out its the most lightweight and scans fast! :)

If you are looking for a good free Antivirus then i wouold suggest either AVG (which has already been suggested i know) of ClamWIN, its not as big as some of the other but provides adequate protection and doesnt hog resources like norton does.

Paid for then i would agree with what has been said, either kaspersky or McAffee, kaspersky being my personal fav, although i wasn't aware of the free version, thanks for pointing this out to me :D:D

no probs, also, im also starting to liek the NOD32 V3 software, built on NOD32 Engine (known to be 1 of the best) but with an extreamily easy GUI, still in beta though. But AOL Active virus sheild is the best FREE ant-virus anyone can get :P

I usually use Norton but currently I reformatted my computer 3 times this year so right now I don't have any anti-virus protection. :o

Personally I use NOD32, its very simple but works great as an anti-virus.
