I just had a chance to read this from the DomainTools Blog Before checking myself..

The rumors are true, Network Solutions are stealing ideas from those who search the domain availability from there site.

Heres an example: vlexoforums.com, never registered before right? checked it at Net Sol.. then went to buy it at Name Cheap, and they say its registered? O.o

Check: http://whois.domaint...vlexoforums.com

So yea.. Don't use Network Solutions :cry

Note that in the post on the DT blog, NS1.RESERVEDDOMAINNAME.COM has 1,800-ish domains. As of this writing, it has upwards of 23,000.

Yeh I hate people who do that, I was aiming for a .com domain, and some register site that sells them to whoever nicked it, and it's not even a name you would think of anyway, so I had to settle for .co.uk instead. I found 123-reg.co.uk to be very cheap and good with there settings.
