Quad Down

Everything should be alright now.

Something used all the ram so thats why the server was slow. So I stopped httpd (breaking all current http connections) and stopped mysql. I then cleared the swap and started the services back up.

its all good for now.

My site is down now... :(

Mine too! :(

I just got my site up and running for the first time today and I was in the middle of sending a PM to Kay saying how well everything appeared to be working and then I realised the site had gone altogether!

The server will be up and down until we can locate the exact account that is causing the server to have a high load.

When the server goes down - we know, when its up - we know. So there is no need to post things like 'My site is down now...' or 'now it's up again'.

I found this out in my webdesign class. :P

My students were looking at my website and then they were like "Hey Eli! Why's your site down?"

So I quickly went into whm and restarted httpd :P

Thanks for getting the server back online, Eli! And I've had things like that happen a couple of times to me. Usually in front of friends or family. All the sudden I encounter this fluke error right in the middle of showing it (usually some sort of script I made) to everyone. Doesn't look very good on my part. :P

Was it isthisnikhil.com? Which is owned by Tyreus. He posted a support topic --> http://forums.tyreus.com/index.php?autocom=tracker&showissue=124 And his site was then unsuspened by a Staff Member. He claims he'll check his plugins and scripts for faulty code. I'll keep an eye on his account. If MySQL goes down again, then I'll re suspend his site and see what happens. :) However, if you prefer to have his site stay suspended I can do so. ;)
