Several people hosted under the Alpha Package have not shown any link back to Vlexo.com as they originally said they would in their application. You know the rules and they state you need to place a link back in order to keep your account hosted. Unless stated otherwise, your account was suspended for not display a linkback.

You have to reply to this topic with a reason why you don't have the links online and we will decided whether or not to unsuspended your account and give you access to add the linkback. If your account is still on the list on 20th February 2009, it will be terminated and you won't receive a backup of your files.

It is likely that I may have made a mistake by suspending your account, if that is the case then I would like to apologise in advance.

I took the title and the linkback down and replaced them with a flash document which had the title and the linkback, i recently changed the flash document and forgot to put them back into the html.

Okay the account has been unsuspended. The linkback shouldn't be in a flash file, it needs to be one of the ways shown in the topic -  http://forum.vlexo.c...read.php?t=2682 - or you could go further and have an image linkback.

Get a correct linkback online, please.

Do i need to get ads going cause youve posted
Zednet.org-Pending (Needs to get ads online)

and i thought that with the alpha pack i didnt need any ads, only a linkback.

Your account will be suspended again as you are still not displaying the correct link back - so can you stop wasting time and put the link back online as you originally said you would. Go to this topic -  http://forum.vlexo.c...read.php?t=2682 - and read what we are after. You need to at least mention Vlexo, just putting 'Hosting' is not what was asked.

jerrod.vlexo.net had ads on the main page and then on most other pages in the copyright, only place that is on home page or huronshows that does not have links is on the forum.

I just unsuspended your website (http://jerrod.vlexo.net/) so you can see. A linkback needs to link to somewhere, in your case you just have text on the page which isn't a linkback. If you go to - http://forum.vlexo.c...read.php?t=2682 - and copy the example linkback then your account won't be suspended again. If you fail to put the correct linkback online, as you agreed to do when signing up you risk having your account terminated.

Gary Marbach, here.  Swoop.Vlexo.Net is one of the accounts on the suspension list for no linkback.  

I actually did try a week or two ago to create a special linkback on an index page (the index page is still on my site - and you can reference it to see what I mean).  However, I was trying to make it a special link back -using the "banner tool" that comes with a Vlexo site.

However, I so far haven't been able to get that banner tool to work.

I suppose I could give up on making that special linkback and just do a regular one...

If you open up the account, I'll get in and do just a regular link back on the index page within a day of being notified (I'll try to check back often in the mean time to see when to do the work).

When I visit http://swoop.vlexo.net is must take me to some sort of index page where the linkback is currently displayed. Even if you decide to redirect your visitors to your 'forum' or somewhere like that you still need to display the linkback on the first page the visitor will see. Your account has been unsuspended, get an index page up and the linkback online - one that links to Vlexo.com as displayed in the previous topic.

Kay - I have added the link back.  I hope to do more with it in the near future - but at least I have it on the "default.html" on swoop.vlexo.net page now.
