JavaScript On and Off

Do you usually turn off the javascript feature in your browser ?

I am currently attempting to create a website using a theme with a drop down navigation feature.. and after turning off the javascript in my Firefox browser, no drop downs ..

Percentage Figures in w3schools website report a huge percent of Firefox users turning this feature off.

http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

Eli's website http://www.eliloewen.com/ even states that bots cannot see javascript and it would kill your seo.

Back to the main question. Do you usually turn off javascript for your browsers ?

It depends. I normally don't turn it off unless the website contains annoying crap that has to do with javascript (i.e. Snow falling), if I come accross a situation like that I will turn my javascript off.

Other than that, I honestly see no reason why to.

I have JS on. But I dont know much about JS, never learned the language. But what I do know is that if used the wrong way then accessibility is an issue for people and bots.

btw you can have drop down menus that only use CSS.
