For a few hours now, my email hasn't been working. I use Outlook Express as my client, and upon connecting to the mail server it just loops and keeps asking me for a password.
E.g.
I ask it to fetch my email from my email account; me@ollynewport.com.
It will wait a few seconds then ask for my password, I click okay, and it will pop up with the same question, asking for my password.
I don't know what is going on, but what I do know is that this could have been down to a very high amount of spam I have recently started receiving.
Any ideas?

I restarted some mail stuff, does that fix it?

Might be port 25 being blocked by the server. Will have to check up on this later on today!

Alright. I tested this out with Outlook Express and managed to get it working. Is this the first time you've been using Outlook Express? I also tested this in Mozzilla Thunderbird and got it all working.
Could you post the settings you have configured?
