Wow, I would be straight on to that if I didn't just spend some money renewing my current domain. I like to hop and skip between hosts that will give a discount on renewals.

Yup same.

If my domains ever come up for renewal, it's cheaper to transfer them from one domain registrar to another.

I've purchased one domain using this code, since it's so cheap to do so and I can't resist a good buy.

I personally don't like godaddy.com.

My experience through them have been nothing but horrible, I'd prefer using 1and1.com. I have a .com 1 year for like 10 bucks, after that you pay the normal price.

Every time I use godaddy or even attempt to use it, when I get to the check out price and deny all other services besides my domain, my total price totals to be like 30-40 dollars when what I registered for was a monthly billing cycle of $15.00.

But that is indeed a good deal, GL to anyone who gets a domain for that cheep.

I hate Godaddy's interface, it sucks to be frank, but you have to learn to get along side it like a bad mother-in law. However if you want, you can always register a domain at Godaddy using the 1.99 code then transfer over to a more suitable registrar, in the long run it would be cheaper for you, as transfers are usually cheaper than actual registrations. (Well not in this case, since you have the 1.99 code to use)
