I have the following computer:

E5200 Dual Core
Overclocked to 3.0Ghz of CPU speed (Could bump this up to 3.2, though would need a better fan/cooling system)
4GB of 1200Mhz of RAM (Recently upgraded this)
9600GT 512MB DDR3
I can't remember what casing I have, but it has an LCD monitor on the front of it, which monitors the tempreture of my computer/cpu. Works like a charm and didn't cost a lot.

Total cost: ?200

(I built it myself and put the parts together, though the expensive things like the graphics card I had before on my old computer)

So how about you guys? :)

... Don't be embarrassed if you have an old Pentium 4, as I had one 2 months ago, which cost me around ?50 to build and put together. :)

;) Can you moo like a cow? ;)

MOOOOO!

All I know is that I paid 800 dollars for my laptop.

It has a Core dual processor 3gb RAM and like 2.1GhZ or something like that.

      Can't remember that good -_-

      Nice.

The last laptop I had cost my friends (They bought it for me) ?1000 and that was 3 years ago and that was a Pentium M with an 18" screen. I couldn't sell that laptop for ?300 if I tried now. :P Shows you how technology has progressed. Thus why I have stuck to building my own computers with a set price in mind for parts.

      Pentium 4 3.0Ghz
      8800 GT
      2 G Ram
      2 bootable drives, 250 & 200 gig satas / XP Pro + MCE 2005
      Asus P5N-SLI motherboard
      Soundblaster USB external card
2 ton beige 22' in moniter from like the 80s

Processor was free and 2 ton monitor was free. The rest cost about $800 altogether. I get parts at cost being an IT guy, but that's not much of discount.
