I'm a skilled PHP programmer who has a couple years experience under his belt.
I normally don't program with it nowadays though, mainly for some Game server control panel I'm working on.
I could help ya out. Also got quite some experience with linux servers in general.

Id love to help, but annoyingly time has become thin on the ground, and I have other commitments.

      However

If you are in need of any constructive criticism and testing before you roll out, I am happy to help!

I'd be willing to help out with VlexoFree. I know JavaScript, XHTML, PHP, and Python. My only downfall is that I don't know how to make a decent looking design.

I would be more than happy to help out with front-end design, CSS and HTML are no problem to me.

If you still need help, I can help with developing any PHP/JS/AJAX/JSON apps. I'm a back end kinda guy, not much for the front-end.

Looking at the way VlexoFree is setup and the process by which people go through to get an account and what you see the admins/support do here, do you see or can you think of anywhere that could use some improvements that you are capable of making to make it easier for everyone on here?

I'd definitely change the help guides, and make a better CRM tool to deal with registration set up. As far as what the admins and support do, I could personally help with the admissions as well as create a monthly hit and cp log in monitor so as to prevent dead non-upkept sites from taking up space. Not only would this increase potential revenue you would get from ads but also increase server service quality for the rest of the members. Lastly I'd offer more options regarding how to give back, especially with ad dimensions, making them CSS compliant.

And if you wanted me to go a bit more over board I can make a CMS that will allow for people to manage and create better sites through a dummy proof process. Which also opens up a portal to spur additional revenue. Although this is labor intensive and we'd have to negotiate exactly what you'd like to offer.

Finally on the forums quite often, I may not post as often as I'm on, but I can always help if an additional support is needed.

Yeah that page could use some work. What would you do?

Our current iPanel works pretty well for managing all the signups that are made. Do you think you could make something like that from scratch? Or you thinking of something else?

iPanel has a inactive account list that goes by bandwidth usage (uses the cpanel APIs).

Right now im keeping the ads the way they are until google decides to pay me, or ban my adsense account. These ads are just a test until then.

I dont think we need something this labor intensive :P

I usually wait until someone has ~100 posts before I consider them to be in the support group. But i make an exception for the devel group.

I usually wait until someone has ~100 posts before I consider them to be in the support group. But i make an exception for the devel group.

      1. As far as the front page goes, I'd mainly refine the set up process and clean up the navigation, and make an actual set up process instead of just a help sheet.

      2. Sign ups I'd basically leave alone, I was more referring to the registration process above, making it easier to lead up to signing up for iPanel.

      3. About doing the website set up, it's not really that labor intensive. All I would need is a front-end developer who programs strictly by W3C and is familiar with browser compatibility, and then I'd develop a similar CMS like Joomla, Drupal, etc...for managing the content of the website, that would be accessible through the CP. Making a CMS isn't complex, so if the ads don't work out for you that could always be a good road to turn down.

Lastly I was thinking about also making some kind of index, similar Invisionfree's index, of all the websites you host on your server, and have a rating/popularity setting so you can "feature" your most prominent websites to showcase your brilliant service somewhere on the main page. Also :) just since I'm a web-based game developer, we could add an arcade section to the forums of some simple web-based games.

I dont think we need a CMS; but what would you need access to for everything else?

Also, as this is a forum for both VlexoFree and the coming Vlexo Hosting I think that an arcade would be a bit unprofessional for a company/business board.

Only access I'd need is front-end designer that will set up the XHTML/CSS according to my suggested concepts, and then access to the Vlexofree directory. Specifically the code for the iPanel registration to nestle inside the final set up step, and ability to upload my personal ajax library script, the two files composing the automated process, and ability to switch out the vlexofree "Getting Started Guide" for the automated process. Since most of your guide is informational and doesn't save data or have any real checks til the registration I won't need access to MySQL or any databases.
