Im really busy at the moment but I'll show everyone here why there are ads on everyones vlexo.net subdomain.

Quote

Domain Name: vlexo.net
Registrar: Name.com LLC

Expiration Date: 2009-10-01 16:23:19
Creation Date: 2007-10-01 10:23:19

I dont own the domain. Jon doesnt answer my emails. If this isnt fixed by the time I get back home from class then I'll send him an email with an "urgent" priorty (like that shit actually helps..).

If all else fails.. I guess we move all subdomains to vlexofree.com.

Sorry guys. I've tried my best to take control over everything vlexo from jon but some things I cant control.. yet.

You can access cpanel from any domain hosted on this server. None of your files are going to disappear though. If Jon doesnt respond by tomorrow then I guess I'll get the subdomain altering going.

vlexodns.com is not loading. I hope this gets fixed soon.
Why did no one see the registration expiration date until recently ? (I don't see how something like this can happen.)
BTW, who is hosting that parked site? The provider that you registered vlexo.net in? Or a third party?
Also, one of the reasons I chose vlexo.net is that it's not blocked by my school's web filter. If Jon does not respond (although I hope he does), is there any way to get vlexo.net back?

@CommunistWaffle: You should have made your link paths relative: stuff etc.

      http://vlexodns.com works fine for me.

No one saw it because I dont own it and I assumed Jon would be responsible enough to renew it when he sees all those emails the register sends you saying your domain is expiring.

      Name.com hosts the parked site.

If jon does not reply, vlexo.net stays on hold for 30 days then we can get it again. But before that we would move all the xxx.vlexo.net domains to xxx.vlexofree.com (owned by me).

They only gave me 2 cpanel logins and they're both .vlexo and don't work. :|

Is it possible to park a domain to have it redirect and work? How do I get my DNS Ip or whatever I need if the vlexo site is down?

I directed the other domain to dns3.vlexodns.com and when I try to park the domain it gives me this error

Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: 208.100.30.241,207.58.136.20,208.100.40.201 Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

You cannot use vlexo.net at all. But if you have a domain you would like to use to replace it I can change it. But what kind of domain are you trying to use? Those NS are not ours.

Yeah, I got a free domain that lets you redirect. So I redirected it to the nameserver in hopes of then parking the domain and getting the site working. I'm trying to use diplo.co.nr

Still won't let me park the domain. :/

Or maybe i'm doing something wrong, could you explain the process? the .co.nr site just asks for a link to MY site. What should I put there and what should I put for the parking domain on cpanel?

Oh yeah thats right. Co.nr is just redirection. You want xxx.vlexofree.com or did you want to get a co.cc domain or something to use?

Presuming that the Forums on your site are hosted on your account, you should have a forum control panel built into those forums somewere. I bet you could change your site domain in there (as i see, everything is linked to your old .vlexo.net domain, you should be able to change them to your new vlexofree.com ;) )

EDIT: I see your using IP.Board, I used to use that so you can change your forums link somewere, Eli might know something :P
