I don't see a symbol. Looking at the page source and the html before uploading, it is exactly the same as the ad code. Maybe it's not working because I have some mod_rewrites?

You never said you tried. Did you try writing it by hand?

No, I mean the mod_rewrites were for the page urls, not for this. I just copied and pasted the ad code myself, no htaccess for that.

:( I'm telling you to write the ad comment by hand. Mod Rewrite won't affect it.

EDIT: I think I fixed the ad code on the help page. So copying and pasting the code should work correctly now.

That's weird, until a few minutes ago I didn't even have the .php file on the server.. and now it's there with a date modified time 5 hours in the future (UK time zone, anyone?).

Well, thanks for whatever you did, seems to be working now :P

Well you see, I'm able to travel forward and backwards through time (comes with this job) and according to Kavles temporal movement law any action made in the future that differs from the original time line, converges instantaneously with the relative past. Its all very complicated.

Anyways, you just need the ad and link on your forums and you're done. I suggest putting the skyscraper ad in the sidebar above the vanilla version, and the link in that vanilla version box. That seem like the best place to do it do me.

Ok, got the links up on on everywhere but the forum. Not sure which files control what for the vanilla-- any ideas?

      EDIT: Forum deleted, problem solved.

This time around of doing things I'm making it clear that addon domains have to follow the rules too. So they need the ads and a link too.

Btw for everyone, sidebars are a good place for the ad too instead of just pushing it to the bottom of the page :P

Well I was just about ready to move over - then the adverts stopped working. You added a square advert for me, though that seems to be gone. Could you reenable it (250x300 IIRC), then www.nemeadesigns.co.uk with cpanel account lsproc will be able to be moved over to the expert package. Thanks!

Sorry, but the ways the ads work is that the bids/payments/etc is separate on each ad and I realized that adding that other ad wouldnt help vlexo at all unless we had a ton more people using the ad package. Example, take all the accounts that use the ad plan and divide it by 3 and you have a small number. Divide it by 2 you have a slightly bigger number. Bigger is better. I'm really just going on and on right now. And I'm eating a sandwich. Well.... was eating a sandwich. I just ate it all.

To sum it all up. Sorry :(

If we were using something like google adsense It would be no problem. But they suck.

hey, that domain is no longer hosted on vlexo. it was actually a site I built for a friend, but no longer mine. (the files related to it are still on my account, but they aren't accessed anywhere, will be deleting the files too anyway soon). What you see on hitting "coffee500.in" on the browser is a site hosted on another payed host.
