Hi there,
On the internet there are businesses/organizations called domain registrars they all have a license under ICANN who are the "body" for giving out registrar rights to organizations who want to sell domain names.
You can for example find domain registrars, who I would recommend in the following URLs:
http://namecheap.com
http://name.com
Domains do however cost money, typically around the $10 mark for a .com domain and other prices for other domain extensions such as .net, .org, co.uk and you get the gist.
To use it with our free hosting, all do is just simply purchase a domain name, and when you purchase the domain you will have a facility where you can enter DNS records or name servers and this is where you add our DNS entries/name servers to point to the server your website is hosted on.
Alternatively you can find free 'domain' registrars, which aren't really domains, however which look like actual domains. An example being ".co.cc" - they will allow you to registrer *yourname*.co.cc and will let you edit nameserver DNS entries to point to our server.
;) Can you moo like a cow? ;)
MOOOOO!
