That's an inconvinient about the ad sense... haven't you thought about making your own ads system ? and resell to other major companies interested in some of the areas of the websites hosted on vlexo?
By the way ...how many websites are hosted on vlexo ... if it is a big number you might still have a chance

When I get the funding for my project, (a very long winded process), I will pay for VlexoPaid, along with some nice donations - however, it may be up to 4 months before that gets approved & deposited to my bank account :\

I'm not sure if your talking about google adsense lower down on this page, but if you aren't, I'd first try google ad.
Second, I heard yahoo.com just opened up their own adsense program, similar to google but the rates are a tad lower, but the ToS is much cleaner. Though I'd say those are the only reliable ad providers that I'd recommend.
As far as turning in more revenue I have the perfect idea, just PM me and I'll explain further.

Hey Eli L I have some ideas that might be useful, first things first, don't get rid of the ads cause even though it is a poor income is an income nevertheless. About my ideas, you can make Vlexo more than a hosting business. Why not make it a brand. You could gather a bunch of this brilliant minds on this forum and create a software tutorial about Internet things and sell it, of course giving credit to everyone who collaborate. You could make T-Shirts, pens, USB, all with the Vlexo brand heck even PC with the brand and maybe create a small e-commerce website of Vlexo. Also you can make a game with people who want to collaborate and make a demo and then maybe sell the game.
It's hard to keep a business afloat thats why is always good to keep having new strategies and marketing plans.

Now the vlexo name could be expanded but that requires investments, money, and capital. I cant even afford to start up vlexo.com.
