I was just told the downtime is due to upgrades to the core network infrastructure. The statement is below:

Quote

We are upgrading our core network infrastructure to support higher capacity. During this time, you might experience minor outages while the transition is being done. Most of them will only be a couple of minutes, but the actual upgrade might take 1-2 hours. Please note that your servers will NOT be down for 1-2 hours, but you might be experiencing intermittent outages during this time frame. We apologize for the inconvenience. Once the network upgrade is done, the network performance will improve dramatically and withstand high traffic. If you have any question please email info@honelive.com.

We have had more then 2 hours of downtime from this but once they're done with these upgrades we should be in calm waters from hereon out.

Furthermore it seems we are still blocked from sending emails to Yahoo (yahoo sucks). I have force enabled DKIM on all accounts on the server to try to make Yahoo hate us less. I'm looking into this.

At this time the network has been completed successfully. With this upgrade, our network capacity has literally been increased 10 fold. Everything should be back to normal at this time.

That could explain your packet lost problem because the routers could not handle that ammount of network traffic. Well at least it is fixed

Okay well it would seem that the next time we are down it is deliberate.

Why? Because I'm having another 4GB of RAM added to the server. That means 8GB of RAM for all the users on the new server.

I think everyone should enjoy that.

I've been told that this should take approx 30-40 minutes. I'm making a new announcement to hopefully gain everyone's attention.. This WILL be happening in 1 hour's time from when I make the announcement then VlexoFree will have a 30-40 minute downtime.
Thank you Kindly,

Matt Boulton
