Okay. So over the recent month, you may have realised a few problems with the servers. To say sorry and also to help curb this happening again, we are about to upgrade the server to 8GB of ram.

This WILL come with a downtime of 30-40 minutes. This WILL happen in 1 HOUR from the posting of this thread. This means that in less than an hour's time from you reading this, we will be doing an UPGRADE to the servers to help improve the Vlexo Free services for everyone.
Thank you Kindly,

Matt Boulton

:)

BTW: The problems with the server that Matty mentioned are the recent network downtime (we had no control over that) and one that most of you are not aware of which is when the server is under a spike in apache or php load (usually do to crappy scripts or abuse) the server runs out of memory. This doesn't crash the server but it does cause a massive server slowdown during that time.

Alright we have given everyone some time.

The server will now be closed for the upgrade. See you all soon.

8 Gb of RAM! That's really great! This is the best free hosting service I have ever seen. I hope that this site will stay for a long time. :-)
