Hey there everyone, I know quite a few of you are pretty avid gamers, probably more geared towards action games like Modern Warefare, or maybe even the latest Final Fantasy. So would anyone out there like to get into the development of a new game, and help de-bug all the glitches that are nestled somewhere within the game, while getting to contribute ideas and be the first to play the new release. The game, is called Antaros Chronicles: The World Campaign (AC: TWC), a multiplayer web-based tactical RPG similar in style to Civilization, Risk, and WarCraft 3/Starcraft 3, with the exception of animated unit battles.
Games are played on a real-time scale and are not turn-base oriented, and you play on the role of an overseeing hand over a town, creating units, keeping a check on local resources, creating more towns, and expanding your empire versus another player or team of players. All games, are hosted rooms similar to the Warcraft 3 lobby, and will only hold up to 4 players until a later version of the game, so this provides for a free-for-all and 2v2 game style. The average game will take under an hour, and will end under the conditions that the enemies towns/buildings have been completely destroyed.
What needs to be tested is everything from the server handling a large amount of rooms, to basic game play, and server stress. So I'm looking for roughly 30 people who can run through the game and report any errors that may occur on a timely basis. So if anyone is interested please post or PM me here.
