Today I've tried to send an e-mail to a Yahoo mail but it didn't arrive. On Gmail any e-mail sent was received. I use Thunderbird as an e-mail client. Can anyone explain me the problem?

Looks like they blocked us again.

      Should be resolved soon.

      /Yahoo is a bitch.

Im counting on you . It's not like a big problem but I like to send e-mails from the webstie e-mail accounts  ( it looks more profesional ) .

This proves that Yahoo isn't better than Google . ...

      @ Eli : Danke !

Will my e-mails be delivered to Yahoo or should I resend them ?

I see all your emails in the mail queue which means once they can be sent, they will be sent.

I guess if yahoo sees a bunch of emails being sent from a single IP they just ban it and assume its spam.

The bunch of e-mails are sent to invite some local organizers of scholar comeptitions to use the services of my website .It's not like spam because all the e-mails were taken from their contact form so I think there won't be any problem.
However I've made some tests from a gmail account to an yahoo account and I've noticed that after the third similar e-mail all the e-mails sent from my Gmail are delivered to Spam . It's a ugly policy. I don't like it because I rarely use e-mails and when I do this happens.

Gmail doesn't check the headers... If you have modified the header, some mail providers may consider it as spam(as its common trick with spammers...

I tried sending a mail to my gmail and hotmail accounts, modifying header from my previous host... Gmail put it into inbox while hotmail into spam..

I just sent 5 Mails to yahoo with same Subject and message... First  were delivered to inbox and 4th and 5th were sent to spam. I sent another mail with different subject and message, and it was delivered properly to inbox.. So yahoo is doing a good job from preventing their clients inbox from getting flooded...

Yeah. There must be a convention between Yahoo and the big webshops because their e-mails are always delivered in the Inbox

lol :P Their mails gets delivered for two reasons...
      • There are no Duplicates
      • Their IP is recognized

      Or that's what I think...

There is nothing I can do about it going into spam.

While we cannot fully exempt your mail server from our SpamGuard
technology, we have however, made appropriate changes to this IP address
in our database. This should help with delivering mail to the
appropriate Yahoo! folders. Let us know, if we can be any further
      assistance.
