I have put nearly 10 years into researching my family. I have found my first provable ancestor back around 1000 AD. That is unusual but my family is large and much research has been done by others. The village of Odell still exists in England.
I have contacted the National Archives for information on my GGrandfather who served in the civil war. They sent me two huge packages of records.

That is awesome. Is it accurate? I want to try it but I live outside your country.
