using adsense is fine, there are many different providers of ad based content out there, but as you may already know, Google lead the way. After all, a brand as big as Google needs no hesitation to join. if you use adwords along with adsense you have the potential to create more money and hits. personally, i use small ads so they are unobtrusive to my site visitors.
