Could one of you kindly do me a favour. Could you pop into my account and tell me if its cleaned out or if there are still files and SQL databases on there. I would do it myself however I changed my domains name servers so i'm afraid I cannot login to cPanel any longer. If there are, would you be kind enough to create a backup for me. Otherwise, if it's all good please go ahead and delete the account. I'm fairly certain I took care of everything already, I just wanted to make sure.

There appears to be some issues with MySQL after that downtime today.

I cannot view any of my database tables. I continue to receive this error:

I am looking for an option, (which does not appear to exist), which will allow me to mark every thread as read. Obviously I haven't been around in quite some time so a lot had built up while I was away. I must say, I'm not really liking IPB thus far.

Edit: I appear to have found it. Clicking View New Content next to the RSS icon brings you to a page which allows you to mark that new content as read. I figured that text was just an alternate link to the RSS feed.

I was wondering how I would go about adding an A record to my hosts file / DNS zone (if that is even possible at my account level). I need to redirect a subdomain on my account to a Ventrilo server's IP address.

Hey there,

A buddy of mine notified me today that a section of his ACP no longer functions and keeps returning a 500 Internal Server Error.

I checked for any .htaccess files to ensure nothing was interfering with SuPHP.  All good there. I have even removed all of the code from the file. I still get a 500 Internal Server Error every time I try to access the page. There are multiple other files in the same directory all of which are working as intended.

I've waited twenty minutes to see if it would clear up (with the file free of code). No luck as of yet. Could this have anything to do with the server's firewall?

Note: Please do not quote my post as I would prefer to edit out specifics at a later time.

EDIT: Problem solved. Go figure, I tell people what to do in these sort of situations and yet I fail to heed my own advice. After checking my error log, it turns out it was a permissions error.
