In Topic: No matter what I do, CPANEL refuses to let me in?

21 May 2012 - 08:56 PM

I think the problem is resolved.

I was searching for more info while waiting for a response, & I accidently happened upon a CPANEL link on one of your supporting pages, which when I followed it it took me to a NEW Cpanel login URL. I typed in my Username & Password....and low & behold.....Im in!!??

Sombody somewhere must have changed something, & on a need to know basis I guess I wasn't designated to need to know.

Geeeee.....thanks for the exercize!

Wasted my whole afternoon.

Posted ImageThanks

A simple mistake. I've made heaps of them too, so don't feel bad.  Posted Image

Actually, it's nice to know that my site is in total conformity---a byproduct of this simple oversight.   Posted Image

Enjoy,

Ok.....My Account was suspended again????

The reason I was suspended the last time was due to lack of traffic, well it may not be massive, but I have had traffic on a day to day basis since reinstatement -- small yes, but traffic nonetheless.

My site is still being developed to meet my long term objectives, but it's at a functional stage at present.

I am displaying Smileys...some call them Emoticons. They are all public domain, & can be found on numerous sites free for download as such.

The visitor can see each one clearly, & if desired, can download them individually for their own personal use at no charge via
right-click 'Save image as'

Over 98% of all the files are under 100k, & can only be downloaded by the visitor via the method described previously.

Each & every accessable page/frame has both AD Linking & A Hosting Credit Link Back which conforms to the policy regarding my particular hosting package:

My Package: Expert 2000
My Domain: http://www.smileyfaze.tk
iPanel Username: Smiley

This is what I was told subsequent to my un-suspension the last time:

......Anyway, you don't have to worry about suspension as long as you follow TOS

I've read the TOS up & down. I find nothing that I could possibly be in breach of, so that said, I would like to know what caused my suspension this time?

Do we have a different interpretation of the TOS somewhere?

You tell me.........I'm at a total loss.

In Topic: Vlexo Hosted Websites

18 December 2011 - 07:15 PM

I am slowly but surely figuring out how to create web pages, edit the pages, & publish the page on my free page in Vlexo via FTP (I use FileZilla--it's free & easy).

I have just uploaded one part of of my site too date....it's called My Smiley's Haven   where I give all visitors the chance to view all my Smileys (Animated Emoticons), & see them in action. If the visitor wishes to copy the Smiley for their own use they can freely right-click on the selected Smiley, & select Save the Image As.  All the Smileys are free for your own personal use.

Being that there is a Bandwidth Limit, just copying the Image Link & using it may cause me problems if my Smileys get too popular, so I would respectfully request that you use the Save the Image As Option via your right-click menu, & kindly save it to your own computer & hosting server. ;)

You can visit my website (this initial portion anyway) here:

http://www.smileyfaze.tk/index.html

I will be making modifications when time & imaginative ideas permit.

To Do List:

1. Make a home button to bring the visitor back to the first page.
2. Make some way of transporting the user to a page # they enter rather than using just the forward & back buttons.
3. Make a new main page to cover my whole site, with a descriptive section covering My Smiley's Haven & a link to it.
4. Devise, compose, & publish the rest of my site.

If you have any ideas, comments, or suggestions please feel free to PM me. :)

Thanks

OK....Thank you, I hope my activity is sufficient to maintain an active status.

In the future, would it be possible to alert me via email if anything is wrong, or if my account is in jeopardy in any way?

Thanks again
