Hi there,
I've been with vlexo for ages now, but have recently purchased a WHM for a new internet venture and have decided to move all my accounts there.
Could you please terminate / remove the WHM and any remaining cPanel accounts within - username 'advanced', domain 'advancedweb.co.nz'.
Thanks heaps for letting me have a free WHM for so long, it's really appreciated - you guys @ Vlexo, esp. Eli are doing a great job.
Regards,
Jacob.

Roundcube not sending mail
17 April 2010 - 08:57 PM
Hi,
I had to use my other PC to send some *very important* emails, but Roundcube won't send mail. It can receive it, compose, save to drafts, but when I try to send it just loads for ages then stops and stays on the same page without actually sending the message...
was sending from http://advancedweb.co.nz:2095/ from the address 'jacob@advancedweb.co.nz', cpanel username 'advanced'.
Thanks.

PHP Sessions (again)

Continued on from -> http://vlexoforums.c...7-php-sessions/
It's definitely a server setting.
http://fyrewolf.com/ and
http://fyrewolf.com/any-sub-directory/
are using different sessions - all my subdirectories use one lot of sessions, whereas the homepage has its own irrelevant of www. or no www. ... what PHP settings would cause this?

DNS resolution issue
24 February 2010 - 02:35 PM
Hi there, I have been experiencing issues regarding my PC being unable to connect to my domain 'fyrewolf.com' in both Firefox (3.6) for viewing the site and Filezilla for FTP. I sent an email to my registrar thinking that it may have been their fault, but it might not... the email was:
Any suggestions are welcome.

Recently I’ve noticed I’ve been unable to access the site every now and then – the computer says something regarding DNS lookup failure. I can access the site through Mozilla Firefox (3.6) now, but can’t get into the FTP for the site using Filezilla, which says ‘Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NODATA - No address associated with nodename".’.
I have the domain registered with name.com but hosted elsewhere. I did recently update whois registry contact details but not nameservers – they have remained the same for a few months. I have another domain ‘advancedweb.co.nz’ registered with another registrar and it also uses the same nameservers as fyrewolf.com (the same server/host), and I am not having any DNS issues with it.
Also, I mentioned I updated whois contact details recently, it keeps changing between the new and old contact information when I check at http://who.is/whois/fyrewolf.com/. It’s also displaying a ‘This program cannot display this webpage’ message instead of a screenshot of the site which suggests I am not the only one experiencing this DNS issue with Fyrewolf.com.
I’m not sure what you can do to fix this, as I am aware these issues tend to fix themselves – I’ve also tried switching my DNS servers from my ISPs to openDNS, and back again, clearing the DNS cache with a ‘ipconfig /flushdns’ command, as well as simply clearing temporary internet files.

PHP Sessions
26 January 2010 - 04:13 PM
Hey,
just wondering whether there would have been a difference in PHP configurations from quad to deuce? Its just that following the swapover, PHP SESSIONS are no longer accessible by the script at http://fyrewolf.com/, but the same sessions are viewable by scripts in subdirectories, etc.. just not the root public_html folder? Any suggestions from vlexo staff regarding configuration or from members of the forum would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
