Hello Eli,
I logged into the site again yesterday and today and I now see the ads..
So you can move this thread to resolved I guess.
As I wrote before, we will move to paid plan by the 15th of this month.
Thanks again for all your help.

Yup you can do the adfree plan. Read this http://vlexofree.com...ding_to_Ad-Free
Eli,
We talked it over and will upgrade April 15th. We currently have a paid account at Hostgator, we want to quit there and move our site here and will also move the domain then.
I tried to solve the 'ad not showing' problem, but I can't find it. Gzip compression is turned off, both in vlexo cpanel and also in mybb server config.
If you have any more ideas, I would be grateful. If not, please let me know if its ok to leave it as it is now until April 15th when we upgrade.
Thanks for all your help again

No. I did not change anything...
Could you otherwise maybe have a look on my site?
Please let me know if you need extra information, I really don't want any trouble because of this or risk losing my account.
I totally do not understand, as I did not touch any scripts for months now and the ads were always there before..
Thanks again Eli
edit:
I just looked in my footer template, the add link

results now as a link saying 'Privacy' and it links to
http://vlexofree.com/privacy-policy..
when I look at the site in Firefox it does not show ads.
when I look at the site with Safari it does show the ads..
btw is there a way that we can get rid of the ads all together and pay a monthly fee or so?
we would be interested in setting that up. also we would then like to move our domain
http://dbarteam.net to your vlexo server to replace the co.cc one
