I think SSD are the future but in the moment to expensive for privat-person.

Photoshop - but expensive :)

I also like Irfan View for fast cutting images or change size of many pics.

Iam using Win7 64bit Ultimate with 8GB RAM with the option "no swap file" and in work Windows XP32bit
