So I take a vacation, and when I come back, I find Vlexo on IPB? I'm very impressed

Let me apologize to begin with...as this is nothing more than a rant.
Anyhow, today, I decided to defragment my Windows partition. Everything runs nicely, so I was pretty happy. I ran a chkdsk, and since that can't run from within Windows, I rebooted. It ran the check, everything seemed fine, then Windows booted. My mouse didn't work. My keyboard didn't work. I couldn't even turn Num Lock on/off. So I decided to boot using my XP disc and go into a command prompt to see if I can fix anything. Well, something happened, and my partition tables got deleted and data corrupted. I lost everything. So, I've had it. I'm done with Windows for everything except gaming. I'm tired of all the bugs, the security risks, and losing data!
I reformatted and downloaded Kubuntu 8.04.1, which I am installing via LiveCD (82%!) as I type. I previously only had it installed through Wubi, but this just pushed me over the edge. I've used it before, and personally like it better. I just never had the will to migrate completely because of all my Windows data. Well, now, Windows decided to destroy all that data, so no better time than the present, right? Now all that I have to look forward to is speed, security, and longer battery life.
All I can say is Windows can be nice, but it just has too many problems for me. I'm finished with it. For good.

After a short bit of downtime, Tyreus is back, and better than ever!
We are now on a new server, thanks to our friends at Vlexo and WiredTree. There are several changes, which I will outline below - the ones that are important to you are the server, the forums, and the staff.
The Server:
The main reason for Tyreus's hiatus was our old server. Shikhir's provider gave him quite a lot of trouble, and he ended up losing the server. We are now on an even better server (2 quad-core processors) thanks to our friends at Vlexo and WiredTree! We intend to be here for quite some time.
The Forums:
Probably the most noticeable change, we're no longer using our old phpBB forums. We're now on Invision Power Board, a much better, faster, and more scalable solution, which will allow us to help you, the client, better and more efficiently than ever!
The Staff:
You've probably noticed that I'm not Brad. He's having a bit of an issue with real-life at the moment, but he'll be back soon. As you can see on our About Us page, the site (for now) is run by myself and Shikhir A, two highly qualified people with loads of experience to help better serve you.
Previous Clients:
If you were a previous Tyreus.com client, we have unfortunately lost your account in the downtime, but will happily re-create one for you less the startup post requirements. Just post in the support forum and let us know!
